Tom and Pam's Emergency Needs

On December 26th, the day after Christmas, my uncle Tom had an unnexpected, life-changing stroke.
Hi, this is Tom's neice (Mina Davenport) telling the story. Because this is a surprise "GoFundMe", my Aunt Pam hasn't technically given me permission to share their story. So in order to protect their privacy, I will have to be brief.
On Christmas, everything seemed to be normal. He was laughing, telling stories, and helping with the meal - he even made his famous chocolate Christmas cookies! But on Monday morning, as he was taking a shower, he began to feel numb and dizzy. He called for my Aunt Pam and when she found him he was having a hard time moving the right side of his body. Emmediately, she called and ambulance and he was transported to the hospital.
The days have been full of ups and downs since then. Some moments he seems to be improving and others, he seems to digress. One thing is sure, he is about to undertake several months of therapy due to this traumatic stroke.
So here is why I set up this account: They need help. As many of you know, my Aunt Pammy just finished battling breast cancer - taking a huge toll on them emotionally and financially. Their cars aren't working. Their insurance decutable is RIDICULOUSLY high. And now my Uncle Tom won't be able to work for a few months. They just can't seem to catch a break! So after asking the Lord, He reminded me of this scripture, "But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth." Most of us reading this have "the world's goods" and can see that our brother is in need. Let us shower them with love! Would we not want the same to be done to us?
The money will be given to them and they will be given the freedom to decide how to use it. Like I mentioned above, their deductable is really high so I am sure most of it (if not all of it) will be going to that. The rest will help with daily needs, as Tom won't be able to work for a while. The goal is to raise the money in a week! I know, thats a high goal but I want to bless them soon, as I am sure that they are desperate for encouragement.
This would mean the world to them. I will personally be typing out a paper with who gave and how much you gave - this way they can see who is supporting them through this tough time! We are all frail humans traipsing through this unpredictabe life. It is SO necessary for us to be in this together! So lets show them love and warmth.
Thank you SO much in advance!
