People have been asking “How can we help Tom and Delia?”

It’s very hard to ask for help. I don’t know how to and can’t call people up. . Tom has been the family provider until his journey to fight cancer two years ago. Since then, we’ve accumulated so much debt that we can’t afford the house he built and now we have to move closer to my work so I can manage to still work, keep our health insurance and take care of him.

When we learned he couldn’t beat the brain cancer anymore, we are now slowly losing him as his cancer is taking over the brain and the simple functions in life. I am left with handling the debt, the house selling, moving duties, and I want him to come home with hospice and to be able to either take unpaid leave to help take care of him and/or get 24 hour nursing for him and get him out of the skilled nursing facility . All of this is daunting and we are going into deep credit card debt. This fundraiser will help with paying the yearly deductibles, medical bills, nursing care that hospice nor insurance provides, moving expenses; such as hiring some one to clean the 10 acres that has 30 years of junk that Tom thought he could recycle,, cleaning the house, hiring movers, and getting a flight for his daughter, Callie, to come home and see him from Colorado one last time. Anything can help and I hope to do this and show him how much everyone cares for him so much. He has always been a generous man himself and always helping people when he could. Please share this to those that know him and love him and let his last days be with dignity and love surrounded by his family. ❤️
