My aunt, uncle, and their 2 daughters are moving across country from Colorado to Delaware for a new beginning and a better life.

They stopped for the first night to rest after a very long day of driving in Blue Springs, MO. They awoke to find their Uhaul trailer that was attached to their van with almost $9,000 of their possessions inside, including all of their clothing, many important documents, and some precious good bye gifts given to the children, had been stolen right off their van. Most items are replaceable but many are not. Surveillance cameras at the hotel show a man in a silver Ford F250 or similar vehicle pull up and attach the trailer to his truck and drive away.

The insurance purchased through Uhaul only covered the loss of the trailer and they have a gap in their renter's and homeowners insurance because of their move. Auto insurance also will not cover any of it. Please help them recover some of their huge loss and ease some of their burden.
