For more than 40 years, Tom “TA” Alford has helped build Alford Media into what it is today. While his leadership and innovation shaped our company, his greatest impact has always been his belief in people. TA understood that technology alone does not create great shows, great people do. He dedicated his career to mentoring others, opening doors, and helping the next generation find their path in the live event and media industry.

In honor of his retirement and lasting legacy, Alford Media is proud to establish the Tom Alford Scholarship in partnership with the University of North Texas. This scholarship will support students pursuing careers in live production and event technology, helping provide the same opportunities TA worked so hard to create for others.

TA has always believed that investing in people is the most meaningful investment we can make. Through this scholarship, his passion for education, mentorship, and opportunity will continue to impact future generations.
