Omaha - Toledo House Explosion Fund

On Tuesday, 12/8/20, a horrific tragedy took place in South Omaha, NE. Theresa Toledo’s home exploded.  As a result, Theresa, Angela Miller (Toledo), and Alex Toledo have all died.
These three incredible people touched so many lives and were loved by so many people. None
of us expected something so tragic to happen. 

Theresa, beloved mother of 3 children, grandmother of 15 grandchildren, and Great-grandmother to 2.  She was loved and known by so many for her love of cooking (and sharing) amazing Mexican food, her generosity and kindness for anyone who needed her help, and most of all, her unwavering love for her family and friends.

Angela leaves 3 children and 2 grand children.  Angela was a loving and giving mother who cared for her children with all of her heart and energy.  She was lively and lovely and a favorite to her 7 nephews that loved to stay with "Auntie" to have "dance parties" and enchiladas for breakfast.  Angela will be missed by all those whose lives she touched with her smile, and energy.

Alex spent much of his time donating his time to charities for rescued animals.  He had a generous and kind heart and bright smile that he shared with so many, often times without even knowing the positive impact he was having on others.  Alex will be missed greatly by those who loved him and had the joy of knowing him.

Also in the home was Larry Rodriguez. He is in critical condition.

The need for this assistance is both urgent and will persist for the foreseeable future as we travel back and forth from Colorado and Missouri to help with planning 3 funerals/burials and meeting the needs of family as we navigate this difficult time.
