My name is Michal and I've just qualified for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games!!
I competed at my first Olympics in 2016 where I placed 12th. Even though it was an absolutely amazing experience, I wasn't too happy about my result. For the last few years I've been working hard to make sure this time will be better and now it's finally time for some redemption. I have my sights set high for Tokyo and I'm ready to give it my all!
I've launched this fundraiser to help fund my journey to Tokyo. Even as a top-level athlete in my sport, I’m used to paying the majority of my own training, travel, and competition expenses. On top of that, the Covid-19 pandemic has been a challenge. The Olympics were postponed, many competitions cancelled, and training related travel was heavily restricted. Financially speaking, getting to Tokyo will be an uphill struggle for me but with your help I know that I'll make it!
