Help Me Treat My Injured Father in Gaza and Save His Life.
Hello, my name is Waseem, and I’m from Gaza. I write these words with a heavy heart as we live through some of the darkest days of our lives — under constant bombardment, destruction, and fear. Since the beginning of the recent war, everything has changed… and my father, sadly, became one of its victims.
A few weeks ago, while we were trying to receive humanitarian aid, my father was severely injured by a strike from an American-made aircraft. Shrapnel struck his face, causing devastating injuries to his mouth — shattering his jaw, teeth, and facial bones. He now suffers from constant pain, struggles to speak, and cannot eat properly.
The medical system in Gaza is on the brink of collapse. Hospitals are overwhelmed, lacking basic supplies and functioning under extreme conditions. Doctors have told us that my father urgently needs treatment abroad — specialized surgery to reconstruct his jaw and mouth, followed by rehabilitation and therapy.
But we have nothing. We’ve lost our home, our income, and any sense of safety. We cannot afford the cost of treatment and travel. It is estimated that we will need \[insert estimated cost] to make this possible. And so, we turn to you — kind-hearted people around the world — for help.
Every donation, no matter how small, can help ease my father’s suffering and give him a chance to recover.
And if you cannot donate, please share our story. It may reach someone who can help.
We are not asking for much… just the right to heal, to survive, and to hope
With deep gratitude and prayers,
Waseem from Gaza
We are still alive — but we need your help to stay that way.
