Keller is a good friend of mine and a co-worker. About 4 months ago he started to have some upper back pain that suddenly took him to the OR for a C7 vertebrae replacement.
Preparing for surgery, the hospital ordered a chest X-ray (following pre-surgical protocol). As a result, this X-ray discovered a 2 inch Melanoma tumor on Keller's left lung.
Following his spinal surgery, Keller has now begun chemotherapy and radiation therapy as of this past Monday (Oct 16th).
Keller, his family, and friends are very confident that he'll overcome this treacherous moment in his life.
This situation has made it impossible for him to continue working at this time.
