10 Years of Glass & We're Just Getting Started
MoltenWorks Glass Studio turns 10 this August and we’re marking the milestone in the boldest way yet.
We’re closing the studio for four weeks so we can pause, regroup, and finally fix the things we’ve been holding together with duct tape, glue, and sheer willpower. We need this time to fully focus on revamping the studio and setting the stage for the next 10 years, which we haven’t been able to do while running at full speed in a growing studio!
This isn’t about closing our doors to survive.
This is about closing to transform, so that when we reopen in early September MoltenWorks shines brighter than ever and has systems in place to keep up with its rapid growth!
Why Now?
Over the last decade, our little glass studio has grown into a vibrant creative hub — a place where first-time artists and seasoned makers alike gather to play, learn, and create. We believe deeply in this space. We’ve seen what it does for people - the joy, the healing, the friendships, the pride when someone holds up a piece they made with their own hands. It’s so much more than glass. It always has been.
But behind the scenes, our tools, systems, and space have been running at full tilt. It’s time to give MoltenWorks the upgrades it deserves, and the foundation it needs for the future.
The Vision for Our Glow-Up
This four-week reset will let us:
- Repair & replace tools from the hardworking kilns to the A/C system, so the space is comfortable and fully functional year-round
- Reimagine the flow of the studio for an even better customer experience
- Refine our systems so we can keep up with our growing demand without burning out our team
Here’s What We Can Do Together
While we’re closed for this transformation, we’ll still have core expenses - rent, utilities, and paying our incredible staff - as well as the costs of repairs, upgrades, and organization.
Your contributions will help us:
- Cover essential operating costs during our 4 week closure
- Upgrade broken or outdated equipment
- Clear away lingering financial clutter so we can grow cleanly into the next chapter
- Create the foundation for the next version of MoltenWorks including system upgrades
Why It Matters
If you’ve ever laughed during a Sip N Fuse, brought your friends and family for a night out, found peace in the rhythm of cutting and fusing glass, or simply found joy in this community - you’re part of the MoltenWorks story.
This “glow-up” is how we make sure the story keeps going - bigger, brighter, and even more inspiring.
How You Can Be Part of It
- Donate if you can - every dollar moves us closer to our refreshed grand reopening
- Share this campaign with friends who love art and community spaces
- Shop our 10th Anniversary Sale (Aug 4th –14th) for class tickets and punch card deals
- Join us in the studio for a Sip N Fuse or a workshop!
We’ve poured our hearts into building this business and nurturing its growing community. Now, we’re ready to level up with clearer systems, stronger foundations, and a studio that not only survives but thrives for years to come.
And the truth is - we’re already growing. Our workshops, classes, and new revenue streams are taking off, and the response has been incredible. We’re finally stepping into the kind of momentum we’ve worked so hard to create.
We just need help bridging the gap to clean up what’s broken, clear out what’s outdated, and make space for the kind of experience this community truly deserves.
Thank you for being part of this journey. For every memory, every class, every spark of laughter in the studio, and for helping us take this next big step forward. Your support isn’t just keeping the lights on. It’s building a stronger, brighter future for MoltenWorks Glass Studio - one where this creative haven can grow, evolve, and welcome people for years to come.
With all our gratitude,
The entire MoltenWorks team
