Help ONYX - “The Green Queen” Recover After Hosipitalization
On August 10, 2025, our mom, ONYX, Had a serious Heart Attack (cardiac arrest) that intially left her with brain hypoxia, memory loss, and strain to some of her organs. Against the odds, she survived, and after a month in the hospital + weeks in physical therapy, she is now continuing her rehabilitation to relearn and regain her strength and wisdom.
She has been so brave through this journey — fighting through confusion, weakness, and the challenges of recovery. Every day she’s working with physical therapists, rebuilding her memory, walking steadily again and gradually returning to herself.
Unfortunately, much of her care comes with out-of-pocket costs — hospital bills, co-pays, physical therapy sessions, and rehabilitation support, and medication — and it’s adding up quickly. She is no longer able to return to her occupation and Our family is doing everything we can, but we cannot cover these costs alone.
We are asking for Help to give her the best chance at recovery and to relieve some of the financial stress so she can focus on healing.
How donations will help:
• Covering hospital bills not fully covered by insurance
• Paying for physical therapy & rehabilitation sessions
• Paying for Doctor visits and Recovery equipment
• Supporting her ongoing medications and follow-up care
• Ensuring Access to nutrition and environments she needs to recover / rebuild

The “Green Queen” spreading love & healing through her words, her jewelry, her spirit and her heart. Now it’s our turn to be there for her, She’s the kind of woman who lights up a room and spreads laughter and love. God-willing, she can get that same love back!
We’re calling worldwide on our Leimert Park / AfroCity / Los Angeles family and all who know her to support, lift and help her heal the same way she’s always lifted everyone else. Onyx has always put her family and her community first, She’s touched countless lives with her care and creations, We appreciate all the irreplaceable love over the years and now we’re reaching out to the same community she’s poured her heart into — to help her heal and rebuild.
We are deeply grateful to God and Friends/ Family for every bit of love, prayer, and support during this trying time. Thank you for helping us give her the best chance to heal and continue growing with her daughter.

It’s been overwhelming and a lot to manage, but we’re finally able to share what’s been happening and we know our community has always shown up with love. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we reach out now for help.
