On August 2nd, 2018; our father Luis A Lara Miranda, had a heart attack and was taken by ambulance to Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, TX. As soon as he got to the hospital , he had to undergo an emergency surgery. Doctors inserted some stents to open the only coronary artery that was working, the other two arteries were totally blocked. The cardiologist determined that he needed a quadruple heart bypass surgery. Fortunately, his heart suffered no damage, which helped the immediate surgery. The surgery was successful and completed on August 4th without any major difficulties and he is recovering very well. We would like to thank Our Lord, in the first place, for sending the most experience doctors, Dr Tulio Diaz and Dr Mark Pool, to our path. We also would like to thank people in the community for their amazing support and prayers. Our desire right now is to help our father to recover following the doctor’s advice so he can continue working, helping, and fighting for the Hispanic community in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Many of you have called and offered your help. We want you all to know that we are very grateful for the kindness and love you have shown. We need your help to be able to pay for the bills from the hospital, medicines, therapies and everyday expenses. He would not be able to work for quite a few months because his focus is to fully recover. Every contribution helps, and will be used wisely. We count on you! Thank you very much for your consideration.
Ana Maria, Luis Antonio and Marcela.
