Together with Heidi

Our dear friend Heidi has been given a heartbreaking order by the Family Court of Australia that custody of her two precious sons would be transferred from her to the other parent. Heidi has been the primary caregiver their entire life and anyone who knows them knows what a good mum she is, and how her boys have thrived under her loving care. The court order was shocking and harsh, Heidi has been prevented from even contacting her boys. Heidi has been the victim of layers of injustice and her distress has been exacerbated by the absolute failure of the very systems that exist to protect the most vulnerable. The boys have endured trauma this week they should not have had to face and they have remained firm in their desire to go home to their mum.

During the darkest of times, Heidi and the boys' community have come out in force to back them. Heidi is believed and loved by so many people. Many of us want to help and don’t know how. Heidi is in the fight of her life to get her sons home and the costs associated are enormous. For anyone who wants to carry Heidi’s heavy load with her, this is a way we can help.
