TOGETHER WITH DEBBIE AND JUSTINA

This fundraiser is a call to action and an offering of support for Debbie Kehne and Justina Golden, our dear friends. Early in 2021, Debbie was diagnosed with breast cancer. She went through 12 months of treatment consisting of chemotherapy, surgery and radiation. Debbie and Justina met those challenges with great courage and resilience.

Since the Fall of 2022, Debbie has experienced progressive back pain. Unfortunately, it was recently discovered that cancer has spread to the bones in her spine, ribs and pelvis. The primary focus for her and her medical team is now pain management along with radiation treatments, followed by hormone therapy.

As Debbie has provided excellent patient care for over 15 years as a Registered Nurse, we strongly feel it’s our turn to support her and Justina during this challenging time.

Both Debbie and Justina’s ability to work has been disrupted due to Debbie’s health and Justina’s role as the primary caregiver. The money raised will go towards uncovered medical expenses and help to alleviate their loss of income.
