Some Stories of Change

Tikli’s Journey: The Image on the right shows Tikli when rescued with a severe wound on her front limb, fighting sepsis and unbearable pain. Her chances were slim. But with surgery, intensive post-op care, and multiple rounds of antibiotics, RakshaMAD, with our support, gave her life back. The image on the left shows Tikli, now healed, pain-free, and full of hope, awaiting her prosthetics with which she will be ready to run again and be fearless.

Kali’s Journey: She is a 12+ year-old senior dog who had been silently carrying a massive tumor for nearly 8 years. The tumor weighed more than she did. The image on the right shows her before the doctor’s visit. RakshaMAD rescued her as soon as they received the information and took Kali to the doctor for surgery to remove the tumor-affected leg. The image on the left shows Kali after her recovery, now healed, happy, and finally living a pain-free life, thanks to your donation.

Arthur’s Journey: Arthur spent his early life trapped in a filthy, cramped stall, destined for slaughter at the hands of a breeder. When Live Freely Sanctuary rescued him, he was battling serious health issues and was so emotionally shut down that he stopped eating. With compassionate care, he has slowly begun to eat again and is surely on the path to recovery.
