Hi, this is Abu. This year, I’m proud to be taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon, not just as a personal challenge, but as a tribute to someone who means the world to me—my brother-in-law.

He is autistic, and every day he reminds me of the strength it takes to navigate a world that isn’t always built for neurodiversity. His resilience, honesty, and unique way of seeing life have taught me more than I could ever put into words. That’s why I’m running—not just for him, but for everyone living with autism.

The London Landmarks Half Marathon winds through the heart of the city, past history, heritage, and hope—and for me, every step is a celebration of difference and a call for greater acceptance. It’s a way to shine a light on the need for understanding, support, and inclusion for autistic individuals and their families.

So I’m running this race with purpose. With pride. With love.
