Melissa Martinez is a 4th grade teacher at Bolivar Intermediate School in Bolivar, MO.  She has given so graciously to our community and her students love her.  Melissa, her husband, Jay, and their son, Miles, age 3, all contracted Covid-19.  Their young daughter, Emily, age 5, has tested negative for Covid-19.  Jay experienced life-threatening complications from Covid-19 and was admitted to Cox South ICU in Springfield, MO.  He has since been transported to St. Lukes Hospital in Kansas City, MO, for additional treatment.  The family has been told that Jay could be in ICU for weeks or even months as he recovers.  Their faith is unwavering and we are so hopeful that Jay will make a full recovery.  Melissa and her young family are believing the best is yet to come and there is joy to be found in the midst of the hardest storms!  Your donations will go directly to the Martinez Family to help with meals, gas, prescriptions, and hospital expenses.
