Hello my name is Sandy, I am Adriano’s mom , this is aimed at all people with a big heart, since we are alone in this country, without family, without friends.

I decided to leave my country Peru, in September 2023 with the aim of getting here to this Great Nation, in search of a better treatment, since in my country they did not give us a treatment option for son Adriano and like any desperate mother do not hesitate to undertake this journey with a lot of faith and hope.

Adriano was detected with a brain tumor on the left occipital side when he was barely 3 years old, today he is 11 years old and we continue in this hard battle.

In all this time they have already performed 4 cranioctomies (brain operations) to be able to remove the tumor but it grows again behaves aggressively, expands and became recurrent, this time it was not only on the left occipital side, also in the hypothalamus and in the ventricles of the brain, this has been accompanied by daily repetitive convulsions, delay of psychomotor development, among other sequelae caused by the tumor and the operations already performed.

We have not yet been able to find the appropriate treatment since we do not have medical insurance for it and it is difficult for us to achieve the objective with which we arrived in this country, since the reality is different, health is very expensive and even more so in oncological treatments.

On February 17 we were able to admit him to a hospital and they sent us an MRI which with a lot of effort we were able to perform, the neurosurgeon was able to read the images and has asked us again for another MRI to see the growth of the tumor and has referred him to the oncologist so that he can give the appropriate treatment since he is only in charge of the surgical part and the oncologist of the chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment, and he determines how many sessions he needs, but this is very expensive and that is why I come with all my heart to ask for your support.
