My name is Hazem Khilla. I am 33 years old, married and a father of two daughters, Hala (4) and Lana (3). Like any family we once dreamed of building a stable and hopeful future together

Before the war, I owned and operated a small supermarket. It was our only source of income and allowed me to provide for my family. That supermarket was destroyed by the occupation and in a single moment everything we depended on was taken from us. I could no longer provide my children with even the most basic necessities: food, clothing or clean drinking water.

As the war intensified, we also lost our home and were left homeless. Today, my family lives in extremely harsh conditions, struggling every day just to survive. Our greatest wish is simple: a safe place where our daughters can grow up without fear.

The cost of escaping this nightmare and relocating to a safer place is far beyond our financial ability. With humility and hope, I am asking for your support to help give my family a chance to live again. Any support helps us endure the war and protect our children.

Our daughter Hala sustained severe burns and was left with extensive scars. She urgently needs medical treatment that is not available in Gaza. Every day, we face the harsh reality of limited healthcare, poor sanitation and the constant threat of violence. Each day without treatment puts Hala’s health and future at greater risk.

Despite everything, we continue to hold on to hope. We dream of a future where Hala can receive the care she desperately needs, where Lana can grow up in safety without fear and where we can rebuild our lives with dignity, peace and security.
