We are Recharge Café, a family-owned, community-driven gaming café in the small mountain town of Wrightwood, California.

Our dream has always been simple: to create a safe and welcoming place where people can come together to play games, read, laugh, relax, and most importantly, recharge.

Recharge Café was built from a love of games, stories, creativity, and shared adventures. What started as a small online shop and farmers market booth has slowly grown into something much bigger — not just a place for people to gather, but a place to connect and feel welcome.

Whether you are a lifelong gamer, a parent looking for fun activities for your kids, or someone who just wants a quiet place to sit with a warm drink and a good book, we want Recharge Café to feel like home.

When we opened our first physical shop in October of 2025, we were excited just to finally have a space of our own. In only seven months, our amazing community helped us grow faster than we ever expected. We are so thankful to everyone who has supported us along the way, but now our little shop is exactly that — little, cramped, and limited.

Right now, we do not have the proper space to make and serve coffee and drinks the way we originally planned. We also do not have enough room for bigger events, after-school activities, family game nights, reading areas, or larger community gatherings.

Which is why we are starting this fundraiser.

Our goal is to raise money to help us buy land and build a place where we can grow not just our shop, but our community as well. A place where we can fully bring our gaming café dreams to life, host more events, and create space for future community projects like a maker space for schools and near by families.

We want to create a space where community, families, friends, and visitors can gather and recharge together.

Our dream space would include:

• A bigger space for a fully functioning Recharge Café operations

• More parking to help support the town

• After-school programs and activities

• Family game nights, tournaments, and entertainment

• Quiet places to read or study

• Additional commercial spaces for future growth

• A warm and welcoming place for all ages

In a world where it feels harder and harder to slow down and truly connect with others, we believe places like this matter.

We want Recharge Café to be more than just a shop. We want it to be a place where people can gather, share stories, make friends, explore new adventures, laugh together, and simply take a moment to recharge.

Whether it’s a family playing a board game together, kids discovering their first trading card game, friends gathering around a D&D table, or someone quietly enjoying a warm drink and a good book, we hope to create a place where people feel comfortable, inspired, and welcome.
