We often talk about serving others and helping those in need. But sometimes we don’t always know where that help is needed most.

A few years ago, my sister and I traveled to Ukraine during the difficult time of war. That is where we met Nadia, an incredibly kind and strong woman. No matter the circumstances she was living through, she always chose kindness.

Nadia is a mother of five children. Even though she didn’t have much herself, she was always helping people around her. She would go out of her way to support those who needed it even more, as she would say. Her generosity and humanity deeply touched me and inspired me in ways I will never forget.

Now Nadia and her family are facing heartbreaking news. She has been diagnosed with cancer.

Today, the woman who spent so much of her life helping others needs our help. I’m starting this fundraiser to support Nadia and her family during this incredibly difficult time.
