My Story

My name is Mahmoud Nabil Batrawi, a software engineer from Gaza.

Since 2009, I have faced endless challenges — power cuts, unstable infrastructure, and limited access to education — but I never gave up.

I learned online, built my skills, and started offering freelance services in digital marketing, graphic design, video editing, and motion graphics through social media platforms.

Through years of dedication, I founded Batrawi Media in 2015, a creative company that became a home for young Palestinian talents in Gaza.

The Tragedy

On October 17, 2023, my company was completely destroyed during the Gaza war.

All our equipment — cameras, computers, and production tools — were reduced to ashes.

It was more than just a company; it was my dream, my passion, and the livelihood of several young people.

After being evacuated to Egypt, I decided to start over from scratch, driven by hope and responsibility toward my team and community.

Today, I am launching this campaign to rebuild Batrawi Media — not only to revive my dream but also to create new job opportunities for Palestinian youth in Egypt and to rehire two employees in Gaza so they can continue working remotely during these difficult times.

Part of the company’s future profits will be donated to relief organizations in Gaza and to support its children.
