Together, We Can Bring Back Gather Canton, Post Kitchen Fire

Hello to our incredible Gather family, friends, and the Canton, MA community.

It is with a heavy heart that we share some devastating news. On Tuesday September 24, 2025 - we had a wonderful day serving you, our beloved customers. But after we closed our doors, a fire broke out in our kitchen.

While thankfully no one was hurt, the damage to our kitchen is severe. We are facing extensive smoke damage throughout the restaurant, the complete loss of all our kitchen products, and the sudden halt of our daily business. As many of you know, we are a small, family-run restaurant. We've been serving breakfast and lunch since 2017 and were so proud to make Canton our home in 2023.

The reality is, while our doors will be closed for the next several weeks (or even months) to rebuild, the bills will not stop coming. Rent, utilities, and other operational expenses continue to pile up, not to mention the daunting costs of rebuilding and replacing what was lost.

Gather was built on a simple idea: to bring people together. In a world that moves too fast, we wanted to create a place where you could slow down, enjoy quality food, and share quality time with each other. Seeing you all gather in our dining room has been our greatest joy.
