Hello lovely people, I’m Bridget and this is my mom (49yrs) Rosa who currently needs help with her bills. I’d never thought that asking for money would be an option, but we have so much hope and faith! Mothers are so strong, seeing my mom go through pain every year and going to hospitals nearly every 5 months is so exhausting for her. She still has a smile on her face and never gives up on anything. I just wish for her to be free from a pain. When is not something is another. My mom had Pancreatic cancer diagnosed in 2021. At that time I had online school because of Covid. So taking care of my mom was an easier choice for me. I felt so bad that I couldn’t drive her to her own appointments. Instead she drove herself. My dad had to work everyday and try not to take a day off so he could help my mom with bills. Although my mom had chemo, she would also keep working when she felt that standing up would keep her going further. I felt guilty that I would be to fall sleep and she couldn’t. I love her so much.

I am writing to you all today with a difficult request. As many of you know, my beloved wife, Rosa, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2021, since then she has been suffering with her medical problem, going to hospital visits every 5 or if not 3 months. It has been so frustrating in her daily life struggling for her illness in every aspect moment through her life passing as if she would not rest at all, even afterwards her medical condition worsens every year like it seems. Rosa my wife also had chemical therapy plus tumor surgery in her head, as well as other treatments as it follows with the other 6 or 7 surgeries . It has been so overwhelming for her and us all suffering for her needs as well as going through tough times. The last few months have been a whirlwind of doctors’ appointments, treatments and difficult news with her medical bills piling up.

While Rosa is a strong wife as she is fighting with incredible strength and resilience, the financial burden of her medical care is overwhelming. Her insurance only covers a portion of the expenses, leaving us to cover the costs of hospital bills, copays, extended hospital stays,specialized treatments, medications, etc.

I will never forget when Rosa says, “I will fight this disease and help my daughter and son pay for their college education,” and……. “ lm going to beat this”, even while enduring her immense pain.

We are not asking for a hand out, but for a hand up…… to help us navigate this difficult time. Any contribution, no matter how small, will directly help us cover these costs and allow us to focus on what matters most: My wife’s health and recovery.
