Hi, our names are Caroline and Alicia. We are Emergency Room Registered Nurses. Our beloved patient transporter at South County Hospital has ALWAYS been a source of joy, laughter, and kindness in our daily lives at the hospital. Staff and patients alike love him for his outgoing yet humble personality, as he makes a difference for all, in his own special way. If you or anyone you know has ever been to South County Hospital, more than likely you’ve met Michael.
It is our turn to support him as cares for the "love of his life" who is terminally ill with stage 4 liver cancer.
To know him is to love him. He would never ask for support and cries at the thought of us doing this for them, but it’s just the right thing to do; we are giving back during such a time of need.
Life is expensive and bills continue to accumulate, as they navigate numerous medical appointments. We are sorry that he has to deal with financial burdens while trying to care for his wife at the same time. He needs to, and wants to, be by her side during these trying days.
Please kindly consider contributing anything you can, to lessen the financial burdens that he will carry as he cares for his “beautiful Barbara”.
Kindness reaps kindness and it is now his turn to receive some. All donations will go directly to Michael. Thank you for your consideration. Your generosity is so greatly appreciated.
*Please note, Micheal is aware of this gofund me. He was extremely tearful when presented with the idea. Although we knew his wife was sick, he informed us of her diagnosis and asked it be included in this summary.
