In summer of 2022, I ran around Mt Saint Helens and had a craving for cheese. As an ultra runner I know our bodies crave the food it needs to fuel our adventures. Why did I crave cheese? I wanted something savory and high in protein. Our market place is saturated with sugary sweet snacks that are filled with harmful additives. Hull-some Foods is providing a healthy alternative. Introducing the patent pending Shredder Cheddar an innovative, all natural, shelf-stable squeezable cheese with electrolytes packed for adventure. Shredder Cheddar is what the market has been missing: single serving, lightweight, temperature resistant, portable, convenient, and gut-friendly(premium low-lactose cheese). Shredder Cheddar has mild flavors with pun fun names such as OGeez, which is currently our top seller. Shredder Cheddar has a shelf life of over a year!

Shredder Cheddar is the athletic mouse you see on every pouch, yet, it also symbolizes pushing our limits, reaching outside our comfort zone, and daring to dream big. Shredder Cheddar is a disrupter, and it is our perseverance and determination that will take us to the top. With two years of moving forward from an idea, to creating a product, and receiving a match funded grant through Oregon State University's Food Innovation Center. We have together successfully completed the commercialization of my five bold flavors. I launched in early 2025 and have been selling small-batch Shredder Cheddar since. I have been asked to sell in Fleet Feet in multiple states, as well as on-course for major race events. I have buyers set up nationwide from Oregon to Florida to purchase Shredder Cheddar. To meet demand, I have signed with a co-packer in Colorado, secured pending patents and trademarks, and have been selected to showcase at the Summer Fancy Food Show in New York City this July with the Oregon State University Food Innovation Center’s Incubation Village. This is a pivotal opportunity to introduce Shredder Cheddar to buyers from leading retailers across the country.
