Over two years ago, Dusty’s husband George was diagnosed with malignant melanoma. He has been through operations, radiation, immunotherapy, scans and many appointments. It has been a battle for him with the side effects and additional health issues, including losing his vision due to the immunotherapy. Unfortunately, in July the news came that the cancer had spread to George’s brain. Dusty and George are not giving up.
Dusty has had to take a lot of time off from work so she can be with George, care for him, and take him where he needs to go. Even when she is working, she drives to the Cancer Center that is 3 hours away after working long 12-hour shifts and barely gets any sleep. She is a caring generous individual that has always put others first and has always helped so many others in need over the years and still is. They are both exhausted mentally and physically, and the bills have been piling up over the last two years and have become very difficult to manage. Dusty has very little paid time off from work left, if any, and things just seem to be getting worse. George cannot physically manage on his own and was recently admitted to the hospital again. The mental and physical strain on both is taking its toll.
Let's help them fight this battle. Please consider making a monetary donation if you can, that will be used to help them with the hospital visits, doctor’s appointments, treatments, medications, bills, gas and food and whatever else they may need. Hopefully it will help give them strength through all of this and more time to focus on fighting this and being with each other when it is really needed the most. Any amount will be greatly appreciated from the bottom of their hearts. If you are not able to donate perhaps you can help by praying for them and by sharing this with others.
Thank you so much for your support.
