In January 2024 my brother-in-law Alvin was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. Since his diagnosis Alvin has been receiving radiation and chemotherapy with a short, two month break last summer.

While Alvin focuses on treatments he has been unable to work. Tash has also been off work since December 2024 while they support each other through this difficult journey.

Due to Alvin's low immune system, family and friends have not been able to arrange a traditional in-person Fundraiser .. Which is disappointing because we all know Alvin is the life of a party : )

Myself (Glendeen), my brother Shane and my sister Halley decided to create this account in hopes to lighten the financial load during this challenging time. Alvin and Tash(ie) are the most hard working and giving people. They have shown up for us over and over, in so many ways and this is our opportunity to show up for them.
