FOR PEPITA & SPACE,

Our names are Joelle and Nada.

In 2020, two of our dogs, Pepita & Space, were stolen from our garden!

We started looking for them everywhere, in all the country, and while looking, we found sooooo many dogs that needed help.

We started taking them home. One thing led to another, people started dumping dogs at our gate and we reached more than 100 dogs.

On a daily basis, we fed them, vetted them, and loved them one by one.

Some stayed with us, others went to different home boarding and shelters. Some were injured, others had poor health, or were traumatized or did not want to leave the spot where they were abandoned, hoping their parents would come to pick them up again…

Others were lucky to find loving families and homes in Canada, Jordan, England and France.

We are facing a HUGE problem because we used to find beautiful families in Canada to adopt dogs, but now, Canada has issued a ban starting September 28, 2022, and all the dogs we had plans for are now doomed.

Thera are 22 dogs that need to fly before September 28, AND meanwhile many are still thrown and abandoned on the streets every day because of the economic crisis in Lebanon and the lack of responsibility of many. And we sadly are not able to cover their basic needs anymore.

While we will do our best to send them to Canada, we also will need to close our huge debts... Debts that are now crippling at all levels, that don't allow us to help any dog anymore.

We have more than USD 15 000 of debts to pay between Vets, boardings and medications.
