My brothers and I are creating this fund in support of our mom, Wendi Laino. In October 2025, our mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. What initially seemed like an early, stage zero diagnosis quickly changed after surgery. Following a double mastectomy in late December, her pathology results revealed the cancer was more aggressive than originally thought. This unexpected news led to a major change in her treatment plan. Our mom is currently undergoing her fourth out of six chemotherapy treatments. Treatments are every 21 days, with the side effects getting harder as the treatments continue. She’s facing a long road ahead, including additional surgeries that have been postponed until after chemo is complete.

Months before her diagnosis, in April 2025, all of her routine screening, including mammograms and MRIs every six months, showed nothing. This sudden turn has been overwhelming for her physically, emotionally, and mentally. She continues to show incredible strength every single day, but the financial burden of medical bills, everyday expenses, and time away from work is becoming increasingly difficult to manage.

As her children, we find it incredibly hard to watch her go through this. She is the hardest-working, most loving, and supportive mom who has always been there for us in any time of need, and now we want to show her our love and support back by helping support her through this difficult journey.
