Early in the morning on December 14th, Tyler was involved in a horrific car accident that resulted in catastrophic injuries. He sustained multiple broken ribs, along with severe injuries to his neck and back, requiring a long and complex surgery to repair the damage. At this time, Tyler is paralyzed from the waist down. This accident has turned our world upside down, but we are incredibly thankful that Tyler is alive and has full use of his arms and hands. We remain hopeful and prayerful that through intensive rehabilitation, he may regain additional function. Tyler now faces a long and challenging road to recovery, one focused on healing, rebuilding strength, and preparing for the next chapter of his life. The goal is for Tyler to receive specialized rehabilitation care at Craig Hospital in Denver, one of the nation’s leading rehabilitation centers. The financial burden ahead is overwhelming. Between hospital bills, rehabilitation costs, travel expenses, and the need to remodel a home to be fully accessible, the costs quickly add up.
