Dear friends, loved ones, and community,
Anyone who knows Tomas knows his unwavering generosity, his exuberant spirit, and the way he lights up every room he enters. He has spent a lifetime uplifting others, and now we have an opportunity to support him in a way that reflects the love he so freely gives.
Many of you have been walking alongside Tomas through this chapter of his life. Today, we’re reaching out with newer information and a renewed sense of purpose.
Back in late October, Tomas learned that his high-grade urothelial carcinoma (bladder cancer) had spread into the muscle lining of his prostatic urethra and into the deeper supportive tissue of the prostate. This reclassified his condition as muscle-invasive (T2), meaning the cancer is no longer superficial nor confined to the bladder.
In other words, the cancer has begun to spread in a way it hadn’t before.
Because of this shift, his medical team recommended aggressive treatments: complete removal of the bladder, prostate, and urethra, along with chemotherapy and radiation.
But as many of you know, Tomas has long been clear in his heart about the treatments he does not wish to undergo. He witnessed his mother endure them and understands deeply what they can cost someone’s quality of life. His path is one of intention, consciousness, and alignment with what strengthens his spirit rather than diminishes it.
Thankfully, the chief of urology offered another option: a follow-up TURBT procedure to remove as much tumor as possible and reassess the landscape at that time.
After deep reflection, Tomas has chosen this path. His procedure is scheduled for February 17, 2026.
Yet there is another path that feels even more vital to his healing.
And despite the medical updates, our focus remains the same: healing, inspiration, and cultivating the conditions in which Tomas feels most alive.
One of the most powerful sources of strength and clarity for him has been the teachings of Dr. Joe Dispenza.
Dr. Dispenza’s work centers on the idea that the mind and body are deeply connected, and that through meditation, intention, and elevated emotional states, we can create meaningful shifts in our well-being.
Tomas has attended two of Joe’s retreats in the past, and both were profoundly transformative. They anchored him, accelerated his healing practices, and provided him with a methodology and community that helped him navigate uncertainty with groundedness rather than fear.
He has remained steadfast in his practice ever since – meditating every day to stay aligned with the energy and intention that guide his healing.
Now, more than ever, this work is calling to him.
Tomas feels deeply drawn to attend the upcoming Dispenza retreat in February, where he can immerse himself in meditation, breathwork, coherence practices, and an environment fully devoted to possibility rather than limitation.
This retreat is not a luxury for him. It is a lifeline — a source of meaning, clarity, and resilience. It is one of the few things that has consistently carried him through this journey.
Your donation will go directly toward retreat tuition, travel, meals, and lodging.
