Dear family, friends and community,
Thomas needs our help!
A devoted young dad,son, brother, nephew , business entrepreneur and friend to many, he saw his world come to a halt after experiencing a brain bleed caused by a ruptured AVM. Thomas required an 8 hour brain surgery at the Vancouver General hospital, to remove the malformation and stop the hemorrhaging. Since then , he’s spent 2 weeks in ICU as family and friends prayed for his recovery . After numerous other interventions, we are seeing encouraging signs as he was transferred out of ICU this past weekend to the regular neuro ward. There is movement on the right side of his body but not yet on the left.
What we know for sure is that his recovery and rehabilitation will be long and slow, thus my reason for reaching out to all of you. He will need our help with the ensuing financial implications that this situation has provoked since he will not be able to work for the foreseeable future.
With still so many unknowns , we are certain that by eliminating the financial burden , he will be able to focus entirely on his healing and rehabilitation .
