Hi friends, family, and anyone kind enough to donate or share,
I’m starting this fundraiser for my wife, Tasha (Winni), who was just diagnosed with cancer. We’re still absorbing the news and meeting with specialists, but it’s likely she’ll need a hysterectomy. Chemo and radiation are also possible. With that comes a long, uncertain, and expensive road ahead—as we’ve seen firsthand through loved ones who’ve faced it.
Tasha (Winni) is only 28. She’s brilliant, soft-hearted, hilarious, and my entire world. No one deserves cancer—especially not someone as special and kind as her. We live in a small coastal town in Maine, and the nearest cancer center is four hours away. We’ll be traveling regularly for imaging, consultations, surgery, and follow-up care. Even with insurance, the hidden costs—gas, hotels, missed work, medications, and recovery supplies—add up fast.
We’re hoping to raise funds to help cover:
Out-of-pocket medical costs and surgery-related bills
Travel and lodging for appointments in Portland and beyond
Prescription medications and recovery supplies
Lost income while we focus on treatment and healing
We know not everyone is in a position to give, but even a small donation or a share means the world to us. And if you can’t give financially, sending love or spreading the word is just as valuable.
We’ll keep everyone updated as we move forward. Thank you so much for being part of her healing and our support system. It truly means everything.
With love,
Jamie & Tasha (Winni)
