For over 30 years, Coach Steve Franks has lived out his calling—coaching, mentoring, and shaping young men and women from Vanderbilt University to Marist School and The Lovett School. He has been a force of wisdom, encouragement, and purpose on the field and in the lives of countless students, parents, and fellow coaches.

Today, Coach Franks is facing a new kind of battle: ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. This relentless condition is progressively impacting his mobility, speech, and ability to live independently.
