Assalamu Alaikum and warm greetings.

My name is Mohamed Hussein and I’m part of the dedicated team at Stafford Muslim Community Centre (SMCC), which is a registered charity in UK (Charity number: 1087413 Gift Aid: EW01098).

For many years, our rapidly growing Muslim community in Stafford has dreamed of having a permanent place to pray, learn, gather, and support one another. A place where our children can grow in faith, where families can connect, and where the wider community can come together in understanding, love and unity.

That dream took a major step forward when SMCC purchased a property for the future Stafford Islamic Centre (SIC). It was a moment filled with hope, sacrifice, and collective effort. But with that achievement came a significant financial responsibility.

Today, we are carrying a remaining debt on the property, and clearing this debt is essential so we can have full ownership and keep it ready for Ramadan 2026. This is why I'm reaching out with humility and hope.

I have witnessed the dedication of the local community — people giving what they can, volunteering their time, and praying for this project to succeed. We believe deeply that SIC will become a place of worship, learning, unity, and service, for Muslims and for the wider community regardless of race, religion or culture.

This campaign is not just about paying off a debt. It is about building a legacy. It is about creating a home for future generations. It is about raising Allah’s House in a place where it is truly needed.
