Together for Sage: A Path to Healing

Sage was born with a rare and complex condition affecting her trachea and parts of her brain. She has been in the NICU for over four months and is expected to stay at the hospital for at least a year. She is awaiting several intricate surgeries that require specialized surgeons. For now, we are managing each day as it comes, hoping for safe and effective interventions for Sage.

Due to her complex airway, Josh and I won't leave her side as she needs to be moved positionally as her airway collapses. She needs eyes on her 24-7. This is causing us to have extreme burnout and not much time to work and take care of other life factors. Any support helps with being able to get sitters and help with financial burdens. Our goal is to get her airway growing strong enough to let her be home before her surgery, but these are all unknown factors.
