On September 4th, 2025, our beloved Ravi Patel passed away suddenly from a cardiac arrest at his home while getting ready for work in the morning in Canada. His passing has left his family and friends in shock, struggling to cope with this heartbreaking loss so far away from home.

Ravi leaves behind his wife, a 10-year-old daughter, and a 4-year-old son. His children are too young to fully understand what has happened, and his wife is facing unimaginable grief while trying to stay strong for them.

Like many immigrants, Ravi experienced the challenges of building a life far from home while supporting his family. His native place was Mandali (Vihar), Gandhi Nagar, and his family is currently residing in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. They wish to bring him back there so he may rest with his loved ones.

Sadly, the costs of repatriation (sending Ravi back to India) and funeral arrangements are far beyond what his family can manage alone. These expenses are urgent and immediate. Any remaining funds after covering these costs will be used to support his wife and young children as they face the difficult days ahead. As immigrants, we all know how hard it is to be far from our roots when life takes unexpected turns. At times like this, community becomes family.
