We’re writing on behalf of our dear friend and coworker, Priscilla Gonzalez — a devoted Montebello mom to her sweet 4-year-old son, Luca, and one of the strongest, most resilient women we’ve ever known.

In April 2024, Priscilla was diagnosed de novo with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer (MBC). At just 34 years old, she learned the cancer had already spread to her bones by the time she discovered a lump in 2023. This diagnosis changed everything.

Despite the physical pain and emotional toll, Priscilla continues to show up every day for Luca — with love, courage, and grace. She also continues to inspire us at work with her strength and spirit. But the cost of living with MBC is staggering. From life-extending treatments and medications to scans, travel, and supportive care, the financial burden is immense.
