Hi, my name is Nora Mani. I’m fundraising for my cat Poochie. My cat isn’t just a pet he’s part of my family, my comfort and my daily happiness. He’s always been there for me in ways I can’t even explain. He’s my support pet for past 14 years, he watches me as I do my dialysis daily, sleeps on my shoulder as I lay in bed, and always sits next to me. If I’m in the hospital he’s depressed and lonely and as I get discharged he rushes to greet me at the door. I can’t live without his love and care.

Recently he got very sick, and seeing him like this has been one of the hardest things I’ve gone through. He’s not himself anymore, he has as well stopped eating and drinking out of sudden. His X-rays and ultrasound shows mass in his chest and abdomen. The doctor has informed me that he has malignant cancer. It breaks my heart watching him struggle.

The vet told me he needs treatment, and I’m doing everything I can, but the costs are more than I can manage alone. I never imagined I would be in a position where I have to ask for help like this.

Any support big or small can truly make a difference in giving him a chance to recover and stay with me. I just want to see him healthy again. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me try to save my cat Poochie.
