Together for Osahon - Support the Ogbebor Family
Donation protected
On Saturday, April 18, a piece of this beautiful earth turned into something even greater; Osahon Ogbebor was a light that was needed somewhere else, and she went there to rest.
The Ogbebor family will endlessly pursue ways to return Osahon’s body back to Nigeria where she can be laid to rest — at home — alongside generations of family and tradition; With that comes a $10,000 fee to safely send her across seas. That price tag does not include costs to keep her body safe and at peace in the meantime, transportation, celebrating her in a (permitted) gathering, miles driven between states for Zoogie to split his time and support family, not to mention any unexpected expenses added by the complications of this global pandemic. I’m asking for all of those who love Zoogie and the entire Ogbebor family to please consider giving one dollar for every moment Zoogie or Osahon has made you smile — we could raise $1 million in an hour. Together, let’s remind him and his entire family how much they are loved.
Osahon was loyal, dedicated, and pure. She always gave more than she took, and she had enough love to fill an entire room and more. She had the most admirable and unmatchable work ethic because there wasn’t anything that could stop her when it came to persevering in the name of her family and her children; she lived for her sons and the future she was building for them. Because of this, Zoogie and his brother have built their lives on the foundation of pride — the mission of making their mother proud of who they are, who they will become, and who they are in the eyes of those who love them. It’s because of Osahon that Zoogie is so sweet, kind, larger-than-life — a face that makes you smile and a presence that makes you feel loved. Her spirit is permanent and he wears it proudly.
Much like his mom, Zoogie always gives more than he takes. But right now, we all have so much more to give him. If he loves you, you are family; family is everything to him, and right now his family needs us. Please join me in supporting the Ogbebor family and the safe return of Osahon to her home and husband.
