Hi everyone! I’m Kayzel Coronacion. I am Nathan Urbina’s aunt.

I’m starting this GoFundMe to help my nephew Nathan, a 9 year old boy who is battling high risk Neuroblastoma Cancer. He was diagnosed May 2022. He’s been in the hospital for a long time and hasn’t been able to go back to school. He’s currently getting radiation treatment on his spine, head, and mouth. Also, he is on oral Chemo. He developed leg pain, weakness, and urinary retention in the setting of significant disease progression in his spine. He is unable to stand up nor walk by himself sometimes. Nathan also needs frequent blood and platelet transfusions due to bleeding from his G tube stoma and subdural hematomas.

I’m doing this to surprise my sister, who is celebrating her birthday today. She doesn’t know I’m starting this campaign for her family. She’s been on FMLA leave to take care of Nathan every day. Nathan’s dad works full time and after work, he goes straight to the hospital to be with Nathan. Nathan also has an 11year old sister who is trying to stay strong through all of this.

I know it’s been a struggle to manage everything on just one income. I want to help them raise money for Nathan’s medical expenses as well as daily living cost like food, bills, and travel to and from the hospital and anything else Nathan might need. It’s hard enough dealing with Nathan’s health, and I hope we can ease some of the financial stress they are facing.
