Hi, we’re Imesha and Dila.

We’ve started this GoFundMe to support our dearest friend Nadee, who is currently in critical condition after developing a severe wound following surgery.

Nadee has undergone multiple surgeries over the past eight years due to an accident. Her journey to recovery has been long and painful, and unfortunately, it’s far from over. She is expected to undergo at least four more surgeries in the coming months.

The photo on this page shows the current state of her right leg. She is currently receiving treatment at Kurunegala General Hospital.

The cost of her care—especially the daily expenses for a full-time caretaker—is overwhelming. Her husband, who does not have a stable income, is doing his best to support the family and educate their two children, but they are struggling to get by. Both of us have been helping Nadee over the years as much as we can, but right now, she needs more than just our help.

Every dollar counts. Your kind support can make a real difference in Nadee’s recovery and bring much-needed hope to her and her family during this incredibly difficult time.

As Sri Lanka is not one of the supported countries on GoFundMe, all donations will be collected via a new account in “nab”bank Australia and transferred directly to Nadee.

The donation process is fully transparent: donors can view the progress of the fundraiser, as well as the final amount that will be transferred to Nadee.
