Queridos amigos, familiares y comunidad,

Hoy me dirijo a ustedes con un corazón lleno de esperanza y solidaridad.

Soy Mileidys Echeverria, tengo 25 años y soy de Venezuela. Estudio medicina, y mi sueño está arraigado a vivir para salvar vidas, mostrar templaza, rectitud y mi corazón a pro de dar un mejor destino a las personas, sin embargo, por los azares de la vida, a mediados de julio de 2024 supe la noticia de que padezco de cáncer de cuello uterino que ha sido extremedamente agresivo. El mundo se me cayó en ese momento, todo ha sido muy difícil de asimilar, como sentir que cada día hay un fin. La carga que es salvar mi vida ha sido algo que jamás me imaginé.

A lo largo de esta pugna contra la muerte, con el cariño demostrado de quienes amo, me han dado una increíble fortaleza, empatía y han abierto en mí una esperanza profunda. No obstante, el tratamiento de esta enfermedad es costoso y muchas veces las necesidades económicas se han convertido en un pesar gigante para mí familia.

Por eso, hoy les pido su apoyo con el corazón en la mano. Mi familia tomó —tanto como yo— la decisión de organizar esta campaña de donación para ayudar a cubrir los gastos del tratamiento, consultas médicas, medicamentos y otros costos relacionados con mi recuperación. Cualquier contribución, grande o pequeña, será invaluable para asegurar que siga luchando con la tranquilidad de no quedar arada en el mar.

Si no puedes contribuir económicamente, te agradecería de igual forma que compartas este mensaje para llegar a más personas que puedan ayudar.

Today I address you with a heart full of hope and solidarity.

I'm Mileidys Echeverria, I'm 25 years old and I'm from Venezuela. I study medicine, and my dream is rooted to live to save lives, show temperance, righteousness and my heart to give a better destiny to people, however, by chance of life, in mid-July 2024 I heard the news that I suffer from cervical cancer that has been extremely aggressive. The world fell down at that moment, everything has been very difficult to assimilate, like feeling that every day there is an end. The burden of saving my life has been something I never imagined.

Throughout this fight against death, with the affection shown by those I love, they have given me incredible strength, empathy and have opened a deep hope in me. However, the treatment of this disease is expensive and many times the economic needs have become a huge regret for my family.

Therefore, today I ask for your support with my heart in my hand. My family made - as much as I did - the decision to organize this donation campaign to help cover the expenses of treatment, medical consultations, medications and other costs related to my recovery. Any contribution, big or small, will be invaluable to ensure that you continue to fight with the peace of mind of not being moored in the sea.
