My beloved 12-year-old niece is bravely battling a rare congenital disorder that affects the development of the middle & lower spine. This complex condition impacts her bones, renal system, and gastrointestinal tract, leading to frequent infections and repeated hospitalizations. She experiences significant challenges with both urination and bowel movements, requiring constant use of diapers, which has caused her ongoing emotional distress and embarrassment. In addition, severe foot deformities make walking extremely difficult. Doctors in Eritrea have confirmed that the specialized treatment she urgently needs is not available locally. We are therefore seeking support to raise funds for her medical care abroad, where she can receive the advanced treatment and compassionate care that offers her the best chance for improved health and quality of life.
