Our dear friend and beloved teacher, Madame Dominique, has touched so many lives with her kindness, passion, and dedication to education. She has been a pillar of the French immersion program in Louisiana, shaping generations of students and sharing her love for the French language and culture.

Madame Dominique’s journey in Louisiana began in 1979 when she arrived to teach with CODOFIL. She later earned her Bachelor’s in Education from the University of Lafayette, all while facing immense personal challenges, including breast cancer treatment. She spent her career inspiring young minds at schools like SJ Montgomery and Myrtle Place until she retired in 2020.

Now, as she reaches the final chapter of her battle with cancer, we want to come together to support her family with the overwhelming medical and funeral expenses. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to help ease this burden and allow her loved ones to focus on celebrating her life and legacy.
