Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out on behalf of my brother and his growing family, to offer a little extra support as they navigate a unique and challenging journey with their son, Luca.

Luca is a bright, joyful and strong little boy who is turning 2 in just a couple of weeks! He was diagnosed with bilateral fibular hemimelia and shortened tibias—a rare condition that affects the development of the lower legs. Over the coming years, Luca will undergo multiple surgeries to help adjust his legs and prepare him for walking with prosthetics in the future.

Through all of this, Luca continues to smile, grow, and light up the lives of everyone around him. His strength and resilience are nothing short of inspiring.

As you can imagine, these medical needs bring not only emotional weight but also added expenses—travel, time off work, recovery care, and day-to-day costs. With baby #2 expected in September, my brother and his girlfriend Nicole are preparing for big changes, both beautiful and challenging.

This fundraiser isn’t about urgent need—it’s about community. It’s simply a small way to show love and support for a family who gives so much to their children. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help lighten their load and remind them they’re not alone on this journey.

Our family has always been one to face things head-on and rarely asks for help, but in this season, any support—big or small—is deeply appreciated.
