We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts and a plea for help. Our dear colleague and friend, Lee Jones, recently suffered a terrible accident while on holiday with his family in Corfu.

On a sunny day at the beautiful Canal d’Amour in Sidari, North Corfu, Lee, was enjoying a much-needed break. Tragically, while diving into a rocky area with limited access, he was severely injured. Nearby swimmers quickly came to his aid, using an inflatable boat to pull him out of the water.

The rescue operation was swift and involved two vehicles and six dedicated firefighters from the Thinalia Fire Station. They worked tirelessly to safely immobilize Lee and transfer him to a more accessible location. From there, he was picked up by an Ionian Care ambulance and rushed to the hospital in serious condition.

Lee is currently hospitalized with a neck injury, and his road to recovery will be challenging one. As he faces this difficult journey, we want to ensure that he and his family have the support they need to cover medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, and any other unforeseen expenses that may arise.
