Our beautiful Kelcee should be planning her future, celebrating with friends, and getting ready to turn 18. Instead, she’s fighting the biggest battle of her life.

On January 7th, our entire world was turned upside down when Kelcee was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. We were told that 91% of her body was affected by the disease ….news that no family is ever prepared to hear, especially when it involves someone so young and full of life.

Kelcee immediately began an intense 5-week course of chemotherapy, showing strength and bravery beyond anything we could ever imagine. Sadly, that first round of treatment didn’t clear the cancer, meaning she now has to start a different chemotherapy programme that will continue for the next two years.

Anyone who knows Kelcee knows just how special she is. She’s the fun-loving, kind-hearted girl who is always helping others, always smiling, and always bringing laughter and warmth to the people around her. She has the most beautiful spirit, and even during the hardest moments, she continues to show incredible courage and continues to smile.

Now it’s our turn to be there for her.

The road ahead will be long, exhausting, and filled with many difficult days. Our hope in raising money is to help Kelcee still experience moments of joy, normality, and happiness throughout her treatment.

We want to be able to give her things to look forward to during the toughest times, whether that’s spa days, little breaks away, special days out, or simply precious time with her family while she goes through this incredibly challenging journey.

Kelcee turns 18 in May, which should be one of the most exciting milestones in a young person’s life. Instead of the celebrations she should be planning, she’ll still be undergoing intense treatment. Our hope is that with your support, we can make her 18th birthday truly special, safe, and filled with love, a moment where she can forget about hospitals and simply feel like the teenager she is.

No child should have their life paused because of cancer.

No 17-year-old should have to face something this cruel.
