My Aunt Karlene Hinds has been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer, a life-changing diagnosis that has placed an overwhelming emotional and financial burden on her and her family.

Her treatment is ongoing and extremely expensive, and unfortunately, the medical facilities with the resources she needs are far from where she lives. This means Karlene must travel long distances to attend clinic appointments and receive care. The transportation costs alone are very high, and they continue to add up with every visit.

Due to her condition, Karlene is unable to work, making it difficult to cover basic living expenses, medical needs, and travel costs. In addition, she is a devoted mother who is still trying to support her daughter, who is currently attending university, despite her own health challenges.
