Hi, I’m Ashleigh, and I’m raising funds for my brother-in-law, Jerry — my “brother from another mother.”

Jerry is a phenomenal human being — always cheerful, full of life, and endlessly generous. Even while facing his own health battles, he’s continued to put others first. After surviving prostate cancer and learning to live with a stoma bag, Jerry is now facing a new and serious challenge with his kidneys.

Despite everything, Jerry’s spirit has never wavered. When he was unable to work, he still found ways to help others — using donated vegetables to make soup for the homeless and personally delivering it to those in need. That’s the kind of heart Jerry has.

Jerry lives in South Africa, in a semi-remote area far from major doctors and hospitals. This means every hospital visit involves long travel and additional costs, adding extra strain to an already difficult situation. He is currently back in hospital, weak and in need of specialised care that he and his wife simply cannot afford.

Funds raised through this campaign will go directly towards Jerry’s medical and care expenses, as well as travel costs for him and his wife to reach the hospital — which is over an hour away from home. Your contribution will help ease the financial pressure, ensuring Jerry can focus on healing and receive the care he urgently needs.
